Extended Biography
Tina Woods is a London-based longevity entrepreneur, author, and DJ working at the intersection of science, culture, and human wellbeing.
She performs as Tina Technotic, a DJ identity that emerged in her mid-fifties when she discovered techno music while recovering from major foot surgery. Learning to DJ during rehabilitation, she began performing electronic music sets that combine high-energy techno with a deeper mission around joy, connection and human vitality.
Tina is the co-founder and resident DJ of Longevity Rave, a growing cultural initiative launched with DJ Yukari that brings together scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and music lovers to explore how music and collective movement influence wellbeing.
Her DJ sets reflect her belief that the dancefloor can act as a powerful environment for human connection—where people across generations come together through rhythm and shared experience.
Alongside her musical work, Tina has spent more than two decades working in health innovation, longevity science, and technology. Her work focuses on how emerging science, AI and new models of healthcare can support longer, healthier lives.
She is also the creator of the JoyScore Experiment, a project exploring how joy, synchrony, and collective experiences—such as dancing—may influence biological and psychological markers of wellbeing.
Longevity Rave
Longevity Rave is a cultural movement that merges rave culture with longevity science.
The events bring together DJs, scientists, artists and communities to explore how music, rhythm and collective experiences support human wellbeing.
Longevity Rave has rapidly gained international attention as an experiment in intergenerational culture, joy, and community-driven health.
The JoyScore Experiment
The JoyScore Experiment explores how experiences such as music, movement, rhythm and human connection influence health and wellbeing.
While modern longevity science has focused largely on biology and biomarkers, growing research shows that social connection and emotional wellbeing are among the strongest predictors of long-term health.
JoyScore aims to investigate how collective experiences like dancing affect physiological and psychological signals including mood, stress, and social bonding.
Through Longevity Rave events, Tina and collaborators are exploring how the dancefloor can function as a living laboratory for joy and human connection.
