Longevity Rave @Oceanburn Miami, 25 March 2025

Yukari and Tina Technotic played at Oceanburn, a burn-gala running the length of Miami Music Week 2025. It was the first time for the event and their objective is to eliminate the world's five plastic islands in the next five years (2030) by making urgent and direct investments into practical and currently available ocean conservation technology. Co-created by DJs and Burning Man’s most respected camps, along with indigenous leaders and environmental justice warriors from around the world, Oceanburn is merging world-class music and technology with an urgent call to action.

In addition to DJing, Longevity Rave curated a 4-hour session on longevity and the human exposome inviting leading scientists, entrepreneurs and activists to explore the science behind the Human Exposome (90% of chronic diseases is linked to our environment, as described by the ‘exposome’: the totality of exposures individuals experience over their lives affecting their health). The scientific panel explored the evidence on microplastics affecting human health, how human and planetary health is intertwined, and the link between physical and mental health, and wider social, environmental, and behavioural factors affecting human flourishing.
