Tina Woods

Founder and resident of Longevity Rave, Tina Technotic found her passion for techno in her mid-fifties, as she discovered the power of music in healing. She now fuses her love for music with science, crafting high-energy sets that unite generations.

Tina Technotic is a late-blooming DJ with a unique story that defies conventional timelines. She discovered her passion for techno music in her mid-fifties, first as a dancer, then as a DJ during a life-changing recovery from major foot surgery. Spending months in recovery, Tina immersed herself in music, learning how to mix energetic beats that embody her new lease on life. Her journey from recovery to the DJ booth has been featured in major outlets like the Sunday Times (see here story and video) and Business Insider (see here that went viral), where her story has inspired many to embrace the transformative power of music, regardless of age.

Tina is a leader in the global longevity movement, passionate about bringing the science and technology to the mainstream. She fuses her passion for music with her dedication to health science and innovation. Her DJ sets reflect her belief in the communal, transformative power of techno music, blending high-energy beats that encourage joy, freedom, and connection.

Tina co-founded Longevity Rave with her DJ partner Yukari to create experiences that unite generations and cultures, harnessing the power of music to promote mental wellness and sustainable living. Now, Tina is on a mission to take her music, message, and longevity movement to the global stage, bringing vibrant energy and purpose to every dancefloor she steps onto.

Yukari Takehisa

Yukari Takehisa is a Cultural Insights Specialist and DJ, and co-founder of Longevity Rave, exploring how music can transform loneliness into connection.

Born in Tokyo, raised in the United States, and educated at the London School of Economics, Yukari’s work is rooted in understanding human behaviour across cultures. Her journey into music began during a deeply lonely period, when she found a sense of belonging on the dancefloor.

Immersed in rave culture, she discovered a space where differences dissolve and people connect across generations. What began as a personal refuge became a purpose — to create spaces where others could experience that same sense of connection and joy.

Yukari began DJing in Tokyo, bringing energy, freedom, and release into the city’s high-pressure environment through techno. Her sets reflect her belief in the power of music to unite people, fostering shared joy, connection, and community.

In London, she met her DJ partner Tina on the dancefloor — a moment that led to the creation of Longevity Rave (see their story here). Together, they are building a global movement that brings people together across generations, cultures, and life stages.

Yukari is driven by a vision of using music as a bridge — connecting people, creating belonging, and redefining how we experience community through the dancefloor.
